LoopMuse Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
This policy describes how LoopMuse, an app published by David W. Hundley, handles your information.
Information collected
LoopMuse does not collect any personal information. The app has no accounts and no servers, and nothing you create in it is sent to us or to anyone else.
- Audio files you open from the Files app are played on your device and never uploaded.
- Loop points are held in memory for the current session only.
Device permissions
LoopMuse asks for these permissions only when a feature needs them. You can change them at any time in Settings (System Settings on Mac).
- Media & Apple Music (iPhone and iPad): used so you can pick a song from your Music library to play and loop. The track is read and played on your device only; nothing about your library is stored elsewhere or transmitted. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Media & Apple Music. On Mac, LoopMuse doesn't ask for this permission; you choose files in Finder instead.
Analytics, advertising, and third parties
LoopMuse contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you and are used only to fix problems.
Children
LoopMuse does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If LoopMuse ever changes how it handles data, this policy and the app's App Store privacy details will be updated before the change ships, and this page will show a new effective date.
